Mike Cote Tech LLC performs full Windows 11 reinstallations at your home or business across North Central Massachusetts — and unlike a DIY wipe, we back up all your important data first so nothing gets lost in the process. What's included in this service: Before touching anything, we perform a complete backup of your personal files — documents, photos, music, videos, and desktop items — to an external drive. We then perform a clean installation of Windows 11, install all critical updates and drivers, restore your personal files back onto the system, and reinstall the essential software you use regularly (browsers, Office, antivirus, etc., as applicable). When a reinstall makes sense: A clean reinstall is the right move when your computer is severely infected with malware that standard removal can't fully clean, when Windows is corrupted and throwing persistent errors that can't be resolved through normal troubleshooting, or when the system is so bogged down after years of accumulated software that a fresh start will give you dramatically better performance. We'll always give you an honest recommendation — if your issue can be resolved without a full reinstall, we'll tell you. But if a clean slate is the right call, this service gets it done properly. Policy Overview This policy establishes the procedures and expectations for canceling or rescheduling a mobile computer repair appointment. Cancellation Policy • Notice Requirement: Clients are required to provide a minimum of two hours’ notice prior to the scheduled appointment time to cancel without penalty. • Cancellation Fees: No cancellation fees will be charged. • No-Shows: There are no fees for missed appointments. • Advance Notice for Rescheduling: Clients wishing to reschedule must notify the service provider at least two hours before the original appointment time. • Availability: Rescheduled appointments are subject to technician availability. The service provider will make every effort to accommodate preferred dates and times. • Multiple Reschedules: Frequent rescheduling may result in a requirement for a service deposit or limited future appointment options. How to Cancel or Reschedule • Contact the service provider by phone, email, or via the online booking system. • Provide your name, appointment date/time, and reason for cancellation or rescheduling. • Await confirmation of your cancellation or new appointment details. Exceptions The service provider recognizes that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances may occur. In such events, please contact us as promptly as possible to discuss your situation. Exceptions to policies or fees may be granted at the provider’s discretion. Payment methods We accept cash, checks, all major credit cards, Venmo, and PayPal. Payments should be made at either the beginning or end of each appointment.
