I asked Mike to repair my laptop because DELL was unreasonable to their prices. Mike researched the repair and we talked on the phone. He was very professional, and honest with me that doing the repair himself might not be too different from DELL for good reasons. Mike came to my house to assess a boot sector failure. He quickly diagnosed it as a failed solid-state drive, he had a replacement with him, he installed it, reinstalled Windows 10, with all the updates, ensured the Windows license was properly activated, and I was back running in one hour! Mike was very knowledgeable, and he only charged $25 for the replacement solid-state drive, which is pretty close to retail prices. So overall, I don't think this kind of service exists anywhere else. Oh, and BTW, all this happened <48 hours after I first contacted him. Amazing.
